2:15 PM “TweetFest” This annual favorite is a rapid-fire way to try out jokes. You’ll line up and approach the mic with a joke short enough to qualify for a “tweet”. In fact, you can scroll through your old tweets and share your best. After you get a laugh, move on to the back of the line and repeat until we have all laughed ourselves silly.

“TedTalk” style presentations and panels confirmed include:

"How To Get The Gigs - Filling Up Your Calendar"
This program will show you how you can get more bookings and perform more often. The gatekeepers (people who book events) are everywhere.  Stop thinking Comedy Clubs or churches only. Think outside the box.

Led by Veteran Christian Comedian and former CCA President NAZARETH

"Deficit or Overflow?"
We will be looking at why your mental/emotional/spiritual state matters
every time you step out onto the stage and how it allows you to move to
a point of genuine joy in your comedic element. (aka "How can I tell you
why YOU do comedy when I'm still figuring out why I do it?")

Led by comedy veteran and world famous funny woman Anita Renfroe

"Comedy Canvas from 'Pencil Sketch' to ‘Masterpiece’”
Comedy material isn't so different from an oil painting. Starting with a blank canvas, we'll build up to a polished bit of comedy. This is a technique for developing raw ideas into solid punch lines.

Led by Veteran Christian Comedian and former CCA President John Branyan

"Get Your Act Together!"

We will go through the basics (and not so basics) of putting together a full-length stand up act. From how to construct a joke, to stringing those jokes together into a routine, to testing out new material, to cobbling your best routines into an act - this is your all-inclusive crash course on how to build material that will ultimately shower you with untold riches and fame. Or, at the very least, will teach you how to bomb less.

Led by Christian Comedian, Filmmaker and 29 year comedy veteran Robert G. Lee

“Your Jokes Want To Work More For You!”
This program will show you how you can take the jokes you already have and repurpose them as the foundation for a keynote speech, sermon, or book! By using this approach you can create multiple programs and become more valuable to anyone who wants to use humor as part of their event. Don't limit yourself by only calling yourself a "comedian". Instead, use the skills you have developed and your God given talent to inspire nearly any audience using humor.

Led by 23 yr Veteran Christian Comedian & CCA Vice President Rik Roberts

More talks and breakout sessions to be led by Anita Renfro, Jonnie W., Gordon Douglas and a few more of your favorite, well known Christian Comedians!

Check back for more details as they become finalized. But register TODAY!
